Jenny Lynn is from, the small town of South Fulton which is located in Northwest Tennessee. Jenny Lynn has performed "family country music" for thousands of tourist, as well as "Christian" music for churches, charities, rehab centers, and other Christian functions. Early 2004 Jenny Lynn felt a calling to focus mainly on serving God with the talents that He has given to her.
Jenny Lynn started singing publicly at the age of five, at church, and has sung at many different venues, such as campaign dinners, charity fund raisers, church functions, county and state fairs, festivals, school assemblies, talent contests, car shows, beauty pageants, campgrounds. She was the weekly featured entertainment at the Opryland KOA campground in Nashville for two years which accomodates thousands of tourist each year. She has also done studio work at Atlantis Records, The Project Room and several other studio's in the Nashville area. She has performed at functions with "Nicole C. Mullins", "Russ Lee", "The Hagar Twins" (of Hee Haw) "Jim Ed Brown", "Kelly Cash", "Jan Howard", Russ Taff, "Jeannie Seely" and more. July 2004 Jenny Lynn and band opened for "Aaron Tippin" in Pigeon Forge Tennessee for the Patriot Festival, as well as performing at Gatlinburg's Christmas and July 4th Parades. 2005, Jenny Lynn and band performed at the Middle Tennessee State University's "Faith and Family" day. CCM band "Building 429" also performed at this event.
In June of 2002 Jenny Lynn made her home in the Nashville area. Since that time she has been offered production contracts with Atlantis, Groove, Blacksmith, Hot Skillet Records and a Universal South subsidiary company.
Jenny Lynn released her first cd "Stronger" in February 2004, wherein she wrote or co-wrote all the songs. The cd has had U.S. as well as European air play. This Cd is a blend of "Family Style New Country" and "Pop" and features "Bruce Watkins. Bruce is Dolly Parton's fiddle and mandolin player and " Alan Jackson's" studio guitar player. |
